Church Dartball season continues on Monday, January 22 at 7:30 p.m. at EUM #2. Home games are played at First Presbyterian Church this season. Spectators and cheerleaders are welcome at all games, home or away. 2017-2018 Season Schedule and Results
The annual meeting of the congregation will take place on Sunday, February 4 immediately following worship. There will be no Sunday school that day.
The Annual Officer Appreciation Meal is scheduled for Sunday, February 4 immediately following the annual meeting. The meal this year will be homemade chicken and noodles with green beans. Salads and desserts are requested for the carry-in portion of the meal. Outgoing Elders and Deacons are our guests of honor, and therefore are not asked to bring in a covered dish. Please make your reservations by January 28.
Trail Tribe Days Scheduled: Are you looking for a way to connect with nature or for a way to give back? Volunteering at the next Trail Tribe Day is for you! Come and get some moderate exercise while enjoying the great outdoors and helping us keep Chenoweth Trails looking great! During Trail Tribe Days, we clean trails, cut and stack wood, and may also work on special projects. Hot lunch will be served to our volunteers. The next Trail Tribe date is Saturday, February 10, 2018 from 9 a.m. to noon. For more information or to RSVP for one of these dates, call April Brubaker at 937-316-6352.
The Ash Wednesday worship service on Wednesday, February 14 begins at 7:00 p.m. in the sanctuary.
The Midwest Presbytery of the Evangelical Presbyterian Church will hold the quarterly Presbytery meeting at First Presbyterian Church on February 16 and 17.
Work as Worship, a 1-day local church retreat, will be held on Friday, February 23 from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Speakers include Patrick Lencioni, Matt Chandler, Joel Manby, Anne Beiler, Phil Vischer, Tom Nelson, and more. The cost is $25 per person, which includes materials and lunch. This retreat is powered by RightNow Media @ Work and hosted by Greenville First Presbyterian Church. FISH Choice Food Pantry operates 12 months out of the year and accepts donations anytime. The pantry has a need for all non-perishable food items.
