First Presbyterian Church will pass out free ice cream for the Main Street Greenville FIrst Friday event on August 3. The event will begin at 6:00 p.m. and end at 9:00 p.m. The theme for August is Artisan Stroll.
The Annual Church Picnic will be on Sunday, August 5 at Greenville City Park, shelter house #6, at 5:00 p.m. Following the picnic, we plan to attend the Concert in the Park at the Band Shell as a group. Picnic attendees will be asked to bring a medium to large-sized covered dish to share with the congregation; meat will be provided by the church.
The Mercer County Fair Board is excited to announce our first ever Christian concert! What better act to kick off this tradition than the Newsboys? You can purchase tickets 24 hours a day online at www.mercercountyohiofair.com. The concert will be on Saturday, August 11 at 7:00 p.m. with special guest Adam Agee.
2018 Faith Day at the Darke County Fair will be on Tuesday, August 21. First Presbyterian Church will be in the Spiritual Life Center from 10:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m. Donations of bottled water are now being accepted in the church office and a sign-up sheet for volunteers for the day will soon be available in the narthex. The Deacons will organize this event; contact Randy Tester, Deacon President, for more information.
The Annual Congregational Retreat/Kick-Off of Congregational Study, "The Next Best Thing," will be held at Chenoweth Trails on September 8 and 9. Sign-up for retreat and study material in the narthex.

Do you have empty (used) ink cartridges? First Presbyterian Church can recycle ink cartridges at Staples and receive credit toward our next ink or office supply purchase. If you have a printer and do not recycle your ink cartridges, please bring them to the church office and help us save money!
FISH Choice Food Pantry operates 12 months out of the year and accepts donations anytime. The pantry has a need for all non-perishable food items. There is also a need for personal products such as shampoo, soap, toothpaste, toothbrushes, and any other things you might have. For a list of "suggested donations," download the flyer.
