11/1/2020 Weekend Update

Welcome to our first weekend update!

We hope these help you feel like you are still involved and a part of what is going on at FPC even if you are unable to attend in-person.

  • This past week we recognized Donn Thornhill for his dedication to our church. He retired as head of Property & Maintenance after 10 years of service!
  • Barry Hounshell shared about our current financial situation as a church and the proposed budget for 2021 on behalf of the finance committee.
  • The congregation was reminded of the prayer vigil, Hymn Sing, and consecration Sunday coming up next weekend.
  • If you were here, you may have noticed a new face on stage. Ross Wieser and his family have been attending for the past month and joined the praise team on his bass this week!
  • We also partook in remote communion as a congregation.
  • Pastor Andrew Gilman taught on Matthew 19:16-30. You can watch it and find the corresponding bulletin here.
